Le Grestane were born from a great passion for the land and the genuine products of the Val di Gresta, a small corner of paradise in Trentino, famous for its terraces and often referred to as the organic vegetable garden of Trentino.

I am Alessandro, a mountain-dweller, born and bred to a life divided between the ski slopes and the family farm.
Among the terraces of the Val di Gresta, I learnt about the secrets of the land, how to listen to its rhythms with the peasant wisdom and respect for tradition passed on to me by my father.
After globetrotting for a while, I decided to return to my roots – er, tubers – and begin a project that I was really passionate about: growing quality potatoes and turning them into delicious, crunchy mountain chips.
The idea of growing potatoes and turning them into artisanal crisps was born from the desire to make good use of an extraordinary product. The Val di Gresta potato is a tuber with unique qualities.
With Le Grestane, I aim to contribute to the growth of the Val di Gresta area and help promote small, local businesses.
I want to offer consumers a genuine, high-quality product that also reflects our territory and tradition.
